I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
